Reflexology
Reflexology is a non-invasive holistic complementary therapy where you remain clothed throughout, except for shoes and socks.

It comprises of applied pressure to the feet that aims to promote healing in other parts of the body, based on the principle that each part of the foot corresponds to a body system or organ. This is also true of the hands, ears and face.

Reflexology encourages deep relaxation and improves circulation in the feet, while having a very pleasing and positive effect on the mind. Over time, it will encourage the body to unblock any imbalances and allow it to return to optimum health.

While reflexology is used to manage a wide range of ailments, it is particularly effective in helping to relieve stress, anxiety and depression and is beneficial to palliative care patients as it helps them to feel more in control of their situation.

Precision Reflexology

Precision reflexology works by the linking of two or more reflex points simultaneously to amplify the effects and works subtly with the chakra system.

Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD)
Sally Kay's award-winning method of lymphatic drainage reflexology is used for dealing with inflammation and swelling of limbs. The technique traces and encourages the lymphatic system to flow better, resulting in reduced volume of tissue, which is very effective for post-cancer patients who have debilitating lymphoedema, as well as alleviating other inflammatory auto-immune conditions.

You will receive one of the above therapies, or a blend of all three.

Contra-indications to treatment

    - cellulitis
    - unstable heart conditions
    - kidney failure
