Cheryl Gomersal MAR CNHC

I became interested in working in complementary health around 2000 after many years in the arts world and embarked on a Level 3 course in reflexology. As soon as the course commenced, it became obvious why reflexology was such a great choice, having such diverse benefits. I qualified in 2005 with the Association of Reflexologists.

Later on, I experienced light-touch reflexology which greatly appealed and this was closely followed by an amazing course in Devon with Jan Williamson in Precision Reflexology, which works subtly with the chakra system and with the linking of two or more reflex points simultaneously. This has informed and sustained my working practice ever since.

Over the years, I’ve attended and enjoyed CPD courses & workshops in Indian head massage, reflexology lymph drainage, reflexology for people with cancer, hot stone, auricular & facial reflexology, foot reading, VRT, Reiki 1, spiritual response therapy & dowsing, Thai foot massage, Emmet technique, etc.

I have worked on a voluntary basis within a palliative care setting for 10 years and spoken on the benefits of complementary therapies for Breast Cancer Care, Wales as part of their ‘Moving on’ programme for several years.

In my free time, I enjoy walking, gardening and cooking for friends.

I am a registered practitioner & member with the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) since 2005, registered with Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC - set up by the government) since 2011, fully insured with Alan Boswell Insurance Group (ABG) since 2005 and hold a current First Aid certificate.
